| Children with Developmetnal Coordination Disorder (DCD) and Dyspraxia may have dificulty playing with traditional construction toys such as Lego. Items such as popoids which are textured are easier to uses and also connect with and seperate from each other more easily. They also use different colours which enables the child to see the difference in shape. In addition to this, magnetic shapes and puzzels such as Geomag, Supermag and BigMag allow the child to connect pieces together more easily therefor removing the need to apply preasure to the pieces. This will boost their self esteem and give them a feeling of success. |
